Erecting concrete post in a stepped ground

Erecting concrete post in a stepped ground

Problem:

A 8-ft tall concrete post (50-60kg) is too heavy to be erected in stepped ground.

Solution: A strong retaining wall is needed to hold the heavy concrete post in a vertical position.

This retaining wall can be built from concrete fence panels and posts.

The retaining wall is to build first.

Cross-Sectional View

Bricks are used between the fence panels to hold the concrete post in place. Note that if concrete panels are used, they may assert a leaning force against the posts and the retaining wall.
